Durant Earns NSIC Defensive Player of the Week Honors

MANKATO, Minn. – Junior middle blocker Kiya Durant earned NSIC Defensive Player of the Week for her performance against Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State. The Plymouth, Minn. native recorded eight blocks to lead the Mavericks in a road upset against No. 10 Minnesota Duluth last Friday. This marked the first win on the road against the Bulldogs since 2011. The next day, she recorded another six blocks against No. 13 St. Cloud State.
