Durgan and Haley Earn Athlete of the Week Honors for Women’s Soccer

By: Caleb Philips, Director of Athletic Communications SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Avery Durgan (Beekmantown, N.Y./Plattsburgh) and Lauren Haley (LaGrange, N.Y./Arlington) each earned State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Athlete of the Week honors for women’s soccer, after a 2-0 weekend clinching the No. 3 seed in the conference. Durgan recorded two game-winning goals, to earn offensive athlete of the week plaudits, while Haley earned her sixth and seventh shutouts on the season, earning defensive athlete of the week credits.
