Faith Rutherford named SLIAC Offensive Player of the Week
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Spalding University women’s soccer senior Faith Rutherford has been named St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. On Thursday against Blackburn, Rutherford tallied a goal and an assist for the Golden Eagles in a 2-0 win. She also added two goals and three assists versus Eureka. It is the second SLIAC Offensive Player of the Week award of the year for women’s soccer and the first for Rutherford. The Golden Eagles return to action Saturday, October 28th at 3 p.m. at Legacy Fields for a SLIAC conference matchup.
