MIAA Names Tyler Murphy Athlete of the Week

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. – Senior forward Tyler Murphy of the Trine University men’s soccer team has been named Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Men’s Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week. It is the seventh time in his career that he has been tabbed MIAA Athlete of the Week and Murphy is the second Trine men’s soccer student-athlete to be awarded by the conference in 2023. Murphy scored one goal in each of the team’s two victories on the week. The Thunder were winners 1-0 at Hope College on Tuesday and defeated Alma College by a score of 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.…
