Mullett Earns CCIW Special Teams Player of the Week Honors

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Freshman punter Nick Mullett earned College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Special Teams Player of the Week honors, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon. The Bourbonnais, Ill. native played a key role in keeping the Millikin offense at bay during the Bluejays’ 29-27 victory over the Big Blue last Saturday. Mullett averaged 47.5 yards over four punts last Saturday, including a 64-yard punt that pinned the Big Blue inside their own 20-yard line, leading to a defensive touchdown after a sack-fumble.
