Pelaez Named GNAC Player Of The Week; Gordon Makes Honor Roll

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Majo Pelaez (Armenia, Colombia) was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week after her performance in three matches over the last week. Teammate Shalese Gordon (Bridgeport, Conn.) was named to the Weekly Honor Roll. Pelaez averaged 4.50 kills and 3.20 digs per set while hitting at a .233 rate in three matches. Pelaez had double-digit kills in all three matches this week, including 21 in a four-set match against New England.
