Purchase Bests Medgar Evers in Straight Sets

PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Purchase College women’s volleyball team rolled to a non-conference win Monday night, besting Medgar Evers College in straight sets. Scores for the contest were 25-12, 25-7 and 25-12. With the win, the Panthers moved to 5-18 overall. For the Cougars, they dropped to 0-16. The Blue and Orange cruised on the night, tallying 63 points (33 kills, 29 aces and one block), a .288 hitting percentage and massive leads in all three sets.
