Flushing, N.Y.- Bethany Tomaneng of the Hunter College womne’s volleyball team was named Player of the Week by the City University of New York Athletic Conference, announced on Monday afternoon. Tomaneng totaled 59 assists (0 errors), seven service aces and 16 digs in a 1-1 week for the Hawks. In a five-set thriller against Merchant Marine, she produced a match-high 39 assists along with six aces and seven digs. Against Ramapo, she recorded 20 assists and nine digs.
