The Allegheny College women’s soccer team dominated Thiel College in their final game of the season, securing a resounding 5-0 victory. The Gators showcased a relentless and complete performance, leaving the Tomcats without a conference win. Five different players contributed goals for Allegheny, with Emma Miller opening the scoring in the sixth minute. Julieta Schworm, Hallie Johnson, Taylor McKindley, and Cara Wood also found the back of the net. The Gators controlled possession and limited Thiel’s scoring opportunities throughout the match. Allegheny’s offensive prowess resulted in 25 shots and 10 corner kicks compared to Thiel’s solitary shot. With this win, Allegheny improved their all-time series record against Thiel to 2-0-0. Schworm finished her senior year with a career-high 18 points, while Miller led the team with seven goals for the season. Kari May’s performance in goal earned her a spot among the program’s all-time top goalkeepers with 237 career saves tied with Rhonda Moore. This victory caps off a successful season for Allegheny, who scored a total of 30 goals, the most since 2014.
