Foos Named Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week

Georgia State goalkeeper Jaddah Foos is the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week after pitching a pair of shutouts last week. Foos blanked two of the Sun Belt’s top teams, Old Dominion (No. 46 RPI) and James Madison (No. 50 RPI), in back-to-back matches. The senior from Baltimore, Md., made seven saves to preserve her shutout against JMU. Then against ODU, she made four saves to earn her fifth shutout of the season and the 20th of her career.
