Mutai and CSUB Golf Break Records for Second Straight Day

BOULDER CITY, Nev. – For the second day in a row, Sarah Mutai paced Cal State Bakersfield’s women’s golf team while blitzing the program’s all-time individual 54-hold mark, shooting five-under-par during The Clash at Boulder Creek. Mutai rounded out the tournament at -1, leading Bakersfield to also set the new 54-hole team score record (288), while individually placing in the top-10 amongst all 104 participants. Nicole Whipple nearly cracked the program’s top-10 three round list, posting a +7, as Iris Han and stood just three strokes behind with Jefi Dordevic and Yasmin Guerrero putting in solid work as well.
