KANSAS CITY, Mo. (BVM) – The Kansas City Chiefs duo of quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce further cemented their status as the best pass-catching combination in the league as the two recorded 12 receptions for 179 yards and a touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
That touchdown was significant as it marked the 50th scoring reception between the two, making them just one of four quarterback-tight end combinations to record 50 or more TDs together.
That TD marked the 50th TD connection between QB Patrick Mahomes and TE Travis Kelce, the most by any QB-pass catcher in franchise history and the 4th most by a QB-TE in NFL history. They need 1 more TD to tie Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham (51) for 4th.

Given their standing as not only the top QB-TE combination currently in the league, but their statistics nearing the top of the record books, the duo is already considered one of the best combinations of its type. With that in mind, here are the top 10 QB-TE combinations in NFL history.
