Sturges and Costa Lead Eagles to Middle of Pack On Day One

PALM COAST, FL. — Garrett Sturges (77) and João Costa (76) led Asbury men’s golf on day one of the NCCAA National Championship in Palm Coast, Fl., as AU finished the day four strokes behind third place (317). Asbury had nine birdies as a team on the day, led by Costa with three in his round. Gideon Coleman (82) had two key birdies to boost Asbury to their fifth place spot.
