Van Veldhuizen Named GSC Freshman of the Week for Fifth Consective Week

CARROLLTON, Ga. – For the fifth consecutive week, the University of West Georgia Volleyball’s Desha Van Veldhuizen has been named the GSC’s Freshman of the Week. Van Veldhuizen continues to send shockwaves through the conference as the setter recorded 51 assists and 15 digs in West Georgia’s three matches against Rollins, Embry-Riddle, and Lynn, earning her sixth Freshman of the Week nod of the season.
