Lady Bears Fall To Barton On The Road 3-1

WILSON, NC – The Shaw women’s soccer team tied the game in the second half but eventually succumbed 3-1 to Barton at the Bulldogs Athletic Complex on Tuesday. The loss snapped a four-game win streak for the Lady Bears, 11-4-1 overall. Barton upped its record to 5-5-4 overall. The Lady Bears trailed 1-0 at halftime but Matilde Strocchi scored to tie the game in the second half. The Bulldogs scored two goals to pull away for the win.
