Men’s Golf Ends Fall Campaign at River City Classic

HENRICO, Va. – The Johnson C. Smith University men’s golf team wrapped up its fall campaign at the River City Classic on the James River and Belmont course at The Country Club of Virginia. The Golden Bulls finished in fifth place behind Livingstone College, Fayetteville, Virginia Union, and Virginia State. Winston-Salem State placed sixth in the event, while Saint Augustine’s University had three individuals in the event. JCSU finished with a total score of 651. All seven programs at the inaugural River City Collegiate Classic represented historically black colleges and universities from the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA). The tournament…
