Men’s soccer punches ticket to ODAC Tournament defeating Roanoke

DANVILLE, Va.— Averett University men’s soccer defeated Roanoke College on Wednesday night 4-2 in a 90-minute thriller to clinch the No. 8 spot in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament on Daly Field at Frank R. Campbell Stadium. Averett (6-4-7, 3-3-4 ODAC) was tied up 2-2 in 74th minute up until junior Oliver Kousholt launched the ball into the back of the net to give the Cougars a 3-2 advantage.
