Pacers Run Wild in Second Half to Lock No. 1 Seed
Immaculata, Pa. – Marywood University secured the top seed in the Atlantic East Conference women’s soccer playoffs for the fourth consecutive time. The Pacers used a six-goal second half to down Immaculata University 7-0 on Wednesday in the regular season finale. Marywood (8-6-2, 4-1-1 AEC) earns a first-round bye and will host the lowest remaining seed on Halloween. Josephine Sorce broke the Marywood career assists record. Sorce assisted three goals in an eight-minute span. She surpassed Julie Youngman (2015-18) and Rebecca Grubb (2001-02) with her 31st career helper. Sorce also had a goal.
