Soccer Drops 3-2 Decision to Slippery Rock

Edinboro, Pa. — The Edinboro women’s soccer team fell 3-2 to visiting Slippery Rock Wednesday night in PSAC West action Wednesday night at Sox Harrison Stadium. With the Scots trailing 2-1 entering the second half, Jenna Jackson headed home a Gabby Ellsworth corner just over four minutes in to level the game at 2-2. Slippery Rock would score the eventual game-winner in the 63rd minute when the ball found the foot of Faith Diffenbacher off a scramble from a corner.
