Thoroughbreds score late, pick up league point with 1-1 tie against Union

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Hannah Fetzer scored the first goal of her career in the 85th minute to help the Skidmore College women’s soccer team to a 1-1 tie with visiting Union College on Wednesday evening. Fetzer had an open net for the equalizer after Izzy Sullivan chased down an Ashley Downes insert immediately off a Thoroughbred throw in. Sullivan beat her mark and the goalkeeper to the ball before dishing it to Fetzer streaking through. Both Sullivan and Downes got assists.
