Trojans Pick Up Big 1-0 Win at Carson-Newman
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – The Anderson University men’s soccer team picked up a South Atlantic Conference win on Wednesday (Oct. 25) with a 1-0 win on the road at Carson-Newman. The match was originally scheduled on September 9th but was called after 32 minutes of action due to inclement weather with Anderson holding a 1-0 lead. Anderson scored in the 32nd minute with a goal from Juan Jose Alvarez, assisted by Lucas Goldberg. Goalkeeper Amos Uber picked up two saves in goal until the postponement. Play resumed with the score remaining 1-0, and Uber continuing in goal for the Trojans.…
