Troy Soccer Falls 3-2 to Georgia Southern to Wrap Up 2023 Season

STATESBORO, Ga. – The Troy women’s soccer battled hard but fell 3-2 on the road against Georgia Southern to wrap up its 2023 season. The Trojans have failed to qualify for the Sun Belt Conference Tournament for the second consecutive season. Troy (6-10-2, 1-7-2 SBC) opened the scoring early, as Jordan Stack headed in a corner kick from Alisa Detlefsen in the eight minute to take a 1-0 lead.
