The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men’s cross country team is gearing up for the 2023 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championship. With their eyes set on their sixth consecutive title, the Eagles are hoping to add to their impressive record of 37 league championships. The team is ranked second in the NCAA Division III rankings, alongside other strong WIAC programs like UW-Whitewater and UW-Stout. Led by coach Derek Stanley, the Eagles boast a talented roster of returning runners, including Ethan Gregg, who claimed the individual league title last year. The top finishers at the WIAC Championship will earn All-WIAC honors, and all eight WIAC teams will participate in the NCAA Division III North Regional.
