Volleyball Falters at Mount Union in 5-Set Thriller

ALLIANCE, Ohio — In a mid-week Ohio Athletic Conference matchup, John Carroll Volleyball traveled to Alliance, Ohio to face the University of Mount Union. Through all five sets the Blue Streaks battled against the Purple Raiders, but ultimately fell short despite wins in the first and third sets. The set scores were 25-23, 20-25, 25-22, 22-25 and 13-15. In the first set, Jennifer Follmer led the offensive charge with 5 of the team’s 16 kills.
