WestConn Field Hockey Loses At Eastern Connecticut

MANSFIELD, Conn. – The visiting Western Connecticut State University Wolves lost, 2-0, to the Eastern Connecticut State University Warriors in Little East Conference (LEC) field hockey action this afternoon at Rick McCarthy Field. WestConn falls to 5-11 overall and 1-4 in the Little East with one game left in the regular season on Saturday at unbeaten Southern Maine. The Warriors improve to 3-12-1 overall and 1-4 in the league. The Wolves, Warriors, and UMass-Dartmouth are all tied for fifth place in the conference and two of those three will qualify for the post-season depending on Saturday’s outcomes.
