Women’s Soccer Season Comes to a Close with 3-1 Loss to NJCU

JERSEY CITY, NJ | The Rutgers University-Newark women’s soccer season came to a close this afternoon in a must-win game against New Jersey City University after they fell 3-1 on foreign soil. The loss to NJCU is Rutgers-Newark’s first loss to the Gothic Knights since a 2-1 defeat in extra time in 2016. Rutgers-Newark (7-11, 3-6) took 18 shots in the loss putting eight on frame.
