Hofstra Hosts Monmouth Sunday In CAA Semifinals

Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra University women’s soccer team, seeded second, will host No. 3 Monmouth Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. in the Coastal Athletic Association Semifinals at Hofstra Soccer Stadium. The winner will advance to play with top-seeded Towson of fifth-seeded William & Mary in the CAA Championship Game on Saturday, November 4 at the highest remaining seed. The two-time defending champion Pride (12-4-1) will look to advance to the championship game for the 12th time in program history. Hofstra picked up a 2-0 win over the Hawks on October 19 with Millie Davies and Thorhildur Thorhallsdottir notching goals.…
