McManus Breaks Record, Otters Stay Alive With Tie

TURLOCK, Calif. — Amelia McManus (Las Vegas, Nev./Faith Lutheran HS) set the Cal State Monterey Bay women’s soccer scoring record at the NCAA Division II level to help the Otters keep their postseason hopes alive with a 2–2 draw at Stanislaus State Friday in Warrior Stadium. McManus finished a Tiger Rendon (Fresno/Central HS) corner kick in the 64th minute for her record 19th goal, the most by an Otter since moving to the NCAA Division II level in 2004.
