San Diego State women’s soccer team secured their seventh Mountain West regular season title with a 2-0 victory over New Mexico. Kiera Utush and Denise Castro scored the goals for the Aztecs, who finished the regular season with a 14-3-2 record and a 9-1-1 record in conference play. Head coach Mike Friesen praised his team’s hard work and credited their daily efforts for their success. The Aztecs will now move on to the Mountain West Championships as the top seed, where they will face the winner of Colorado State and Fresno State.
