Warhawks blank Verona in boys soccer sectional semifinal

TOWN OF MERTON — Arrowhead’s boys soccer team moved one win away from a state berth, shutting out fourth-seeded Verona 2-0 in a WIAA Division 1 sectional semifinal on Thursday. The top-seeded Warhawks move on to play second-seeded Middleton, which ended Hamilton’s Cinderella run through the postseason with a 3-0 win over the No. 14 Chargers. Arrowhead and Middleton square off Saturday at 1 p.m. from Mansfield Stadium at Madison Memorial.
