Blueboys Cross Country Finishes Fifth at MWC Championships

GRINNELL, Iowa – The Illinois College men’s cross country team finished fifth at the annual Midwest Conference Championship Saturday at the Grinnell College Golf Course. Individually, the Blueboys were paced by Devin Boggs who finished first for the team and 28th overall with a time of 27:36.74. Nick Hannig took 31st in 27:48.60 while Elgin Scherff was 35th in 28:05.02. IC got a 46th place finish from Robby Biesenthal who clocked in at 28:28.41. Will Detmer took 54th in 28:57.48. Gabe Roberts recorded a 29:36.10 to finish 61st and Caden Dettmer was 63rd in 29:50.62.
