Cross Country Finishes Season at NEC Championships

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – FDU cross country traveled to New York to compete in the NEC Championships, their final races of the season. The men were led by sophomore Luis Abreu, who finished 37th with a team-best time of 27:38.3 in the 8k event. Freshman Ekuyami Conteh and Dylan Hoernlein were close behind Abreu, finishing 28:59.7 and 29:27.6 respectively. On the women’s side, graduate student Cassandra Meyer placed 69th with a time of 23:13.0 in the 5k.
