POMONA, Calif. – On Friday, the Cal State East Bay men’s soccer team looked to climb the CCAA standings with postseason hopes in sight. However, the Pioneers lost 4-1 to No. 11 Cal Poly Pomona at Kellogg Stadium. Scoring his sixth goal of the season for Cal State East Bay was Aaron Farnan. GOAL SUMMARY The Broncos struck early with a goal from Mike Moser less than five minutes into the match for a 1-0 lead. The CPP lead doubled in the 11th minute when Mads Frederiksen netted his fifth goal of the season. Woody Angell assisted on Frederiksen’s goal.…
