Four Highlanders Earn All-Big West Honors

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Four UC Riverside women’s soccer student-athletes earned All-Big West honors, it was announced on Saturday by the Big West. Spenser Gonzales, Daphane Mendez and Marieke ten Brink all were named Honorable Mention while Lavinia Vaipulu earned All-Freshman accolades. Mendez became the first Highlander since 2015 with six assists in a season, while ten Brink earned starts in 15 of her 16 appearances on the back line.
