Men’s Soccer Season Ends With 4-1 Defeat to Stockton

NEWARK, NJ | The Rutgers University-Newark men’s soccer team’s season came to a close this afternoon after they fell to Stockton University, 4-1, in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Quarterfinals. Rutgers-Newark (6-9-4) was held to just five shots in the game which was their second-lowest shot total of the season. Michael Reis was the lone scorer for the Scarlet Raiders as he found the back of the net on his one shot. Stockton (11-3-5) registered 13 shots in the win and put five of them on target.
