Monster Third Set Helps FPU Throttle Dominican

FRESNO, Calif.-The most emphatic set of the season straightened out the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds (9-13 overall, 6-8 PacWest) in a four-set victory over the Dominican Penguins (0-21 overall, 0-13 PacWest) Saturday afternoon in the Special Events Center. FPU broke the 1-1 match open in the third with a 25-6 thumping of Dominican and ultimately cruised to a 25-18 victory in the fourth to complete a perfect homestand.
