Patriot Women earn third seed and first-round bye

Following its most successful season since returning to the NCAA Division II ranks in 2016, the Francis Marion University women’s soccer team has earned the third seed and a first-round bye for the upcoming Conference Carolinas Tournament. BRACKET With an unbalanced schedule and conference teams breaking into three divisions, tournament seeding was determined by a formula called the KPI rankings. The rankings only took into account matches against conference opponents, and did not figure in non-conference contests.
