VICTOR, NY – The Alfred University men’s cross country team finished fifth at the Empire 8 Championships on Saturday afternoon from Parkview Fairways Golf Course, hosted by Nazareth University. The Saxons defeated Hartwick College and Keuka College on Saturday to place sixth overall. “The Saxons put on some great races today,” Head Coach Matt Phillips ’10 said. “Their training all summer and fall paid off.
