Scoreboard: St. Michael wins OT thriller

The St. Michael Cardinals won a back-and-forth thriller against Class 4A, Region 1 foe T.R. Miller at Fairhope Municipal Stadium Friday night, claiming a 55-54 victory in overtime. The Cardinals kicked a field goal with 2.5 second remaining in regulation to tie the game 47-47. T.R. Miller had the ball first in overtime and scored a touchdown, then kicked the point after to grab a 54-47 lead. St. Michael matched Miller’s touchdown, but head coach Philip Rivers decided to go for the two-point conversion and the win and the Cardinals converted. The win gives St. Michael a 6-4 overall record…
