SHU Finishes Fifth At NEC Championships

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — The Sacred Heart University men’s cross country team competed well Northeast Conference (NEC) Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning, finishing fifth. In the Pios’ second trip to Brookville, N.Y. this season, all five scorers bettered their times from their first showing at the course on September 9, for the LIU Fall Festival. Giovanni Prestipino placed first for the Pioneers for the first time this season as part of a trio of top-40 finishers for SHU.
