Thunder volleyball closes the CCIW schedule at Elmhurst

Elmhurst, Ill. – The Wheaton volleyball team played its final CCIW match of the 2023 season on Friday. Today’s CCIW contest was the opening match of this weekend’s Elmhurst University Invitational. The Bluejays defeated the Thunder 3-0 (26-24, 25-12, 25-17). Emerson Traweek led Wheaton with eight kills on Friday afternoon in the loss to the Bluejays, adding six digs. Junior Caroline Capps tallied six kills, with Ashton Major adding five. Major had a team-high .375 attack percentage in the match with five kills and two errors on just eight attempts.
