ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson University women’s soccer (7-6-2, 5-3-2 SAC) dropped its final regular season home contest versus South Atlantic Conference foe Wingate (6-6-3), 2-0, on Saturday evening at Spero Financial Field. “Tough loss to a very good Wingate team,” said head coach Sarah Jacobs. “I’m proud of the effort we gave, but we will need to execute going forward.” Wingate scored its first goal and eventual game-winner in the ninth minute of the first half to hand Anderson its final regular season home loss.
