Women’s Cross Country Finishes 6th at NJAC Championships

GALLOWAY, NJ | The Rutgers University-Newark women’s cross country squad finished 6th at the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championships. Stevie Tate gave the Scarlet Raiders their highest finishes of the morning, finishing in 34th (26:06.8). Morgan Marckres placed 49th (26:51.7) while Nydia Jackson followed up with a 74th (30:53.7) place finish. Emma Lipsky-Portales took 77th (31:13.8) and Sara Jaquez finished 81st (32:11.2). Tara Vera and Precious Kamara finished 83rd and 84th, respectively with times of 32:38.2 and 33:39.1.
