Women’s Soccer Falls in CCIW Quarterfinal
WAUKESHA, Wis. – The Illinois Wesleyan University women’s soccer team succumbed to Carroll University, 3-0, in a quarterfinal match of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament Saturday, Oct. 28. Illinois Wesleyan slipped to a 3-13-2, 2-5-1 CCIW record on the year as Carroll climbed to 10-5-3, 4-1-3 CCIW. The Titans trailed 20-4 in shots and 5-0 in corner kick opportunities. Freshman goalkeeper Adriana Ruffolo (Bloomingdale, Ill.-Glenbard North) recorded seven saves on the day while Carroll’s keeper had two.
