Flashes fall to Indiana in overtime
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Kent State field hockey team (7-10, 5-2 MAC) fell 3-2 in overtime against Indiana (6-13) this afternoon. In the first quarter, the Hoosiers quickly were on the attack and scored 45 seconds into the game. Responding two minutes later, Patricia Strunk tied the game from an assist by Victoria Tinghitella. Indiana made four shots in the second quarter and earned one penalty. The score remained tied 1-1. In the third quarter, Strunk took the lead for the Flashes, 2-1, and converted a penalty corner from assists by Bella Carpenter and Eva Usoz. The Hoosiers fought back…
