Hofstra Falls To Monmouth In Overtime
Hempstead, NY – Monmouth’s Summer Reimet scored 2:45 remaining in the second overtime to give her team a 2-1 lead and the Hawks made it stand as they advanced to the Coastal Athletic Association championship game with a victory over second-seeded Hofstra Sunday afternoon at Hofstra Soccer Stadium. The third-seeded Hawks, who tied the game with 15 minutes to play, improved to 11-5-2 on the season and will face top seeded Towson Sunday in Maryland for the CAA title.
