Men’s Soccer: Roger Williams Advances to CCC Semifinals with Shutout of No. 7 Nichols

BRISTOL, RI – The No. 2 seeded Roger Williams University men’s soccer team was victorious in their Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Quarterfinal matchup, against the Bison of No. 7 Nichols, 2-0, on Saturday. The Hawks held a 24-6 advantage in shots taken in the match with 11 of the shots from Roger Williams landing on target. The Hawks had five corner kicks in the match, with goalkeeper Jack Avellar (Orleans, Mass.) making a pair of saves in order to keep the clean sheet.
