Owls’ volleyball splits SLIAC tri-match

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Mississippi University for Women volleyball split its pair of games on Saturday in a St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) tri-match at Webster University. The Owls (6-18, 4-11 SLIAC) lost to host Webster, 3-0 (25-23, 25-20, 25-13) and defeated Principia College, 3-1 (25-14, 23-25, 25-18, 25-13). The split, however, keeps The W in contention for a spot in the six-team SLIAC post-season tournament, with a week left in the regular season.
