Racers Postseason Run Ends In Quarterfinals

The Murray State women’s soccer team’s season ended in the quarterfinal round on Sunday in a penalty shootout to UIC, 4-3, in Chicago, Illinois. The Racers and Flames were scoreless after 110 minutes of play. Sydney led the team with four shots, putting one of them on target. Hailey Cole and Morgan Parker took two shots apiece, with both players putting both shots in frame. Keeper Griselda Revolorio recorded seven saves on 22 shots faced, holding UIC scoreless through 110 minutes. Six Racers played full time in Sunday’s match. Morgan Bodker, Hardy and Parker each made their penalty kicks.
