Byfield native Kingsbury (2 TDs) helps Governor’s beat Thayer

The Governor’s Academy football team is back at .500 for the season. On Saturday, a local athlete in Byfield’s own Hunter Kingsbury returned an interception for a touchdown, and also had a kickoff return TD to help Govs beat Thayer Academy, 38-21. and after a shutout victory over the Middlesex School last week, Govs is now 3-3 on the season. Dawson DuBose had another strong day on the ground, rushing for 95 yards on 10 carries while capping the team’s opening two drives with touchdowns.
